PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7 and PHP 8 Support in Cloud Hosting
With our Linux cloud hosting packages, you will be able to choose the PHP version that will be active for your shared web hosting account, since different versions are enabled on our servers. With only one click of the mouse, you’ll be able to switch between PHP 4, 5, 7 and every time a new version is published in the future, we’ll include it in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel without removing the earlier ones. In this way, you will be able to host all the sites that you’ve created through the years. In contrast with lots of other hosting vendors, we won’t force you to update such sites, because a script may be out of date, but this does not automatically mean that it is insecure as you may have implemented modifications to its source code to fill safety holes. For your convenience’s sake, you’ll even be able to pick a different version of PHP for each individual website that you host in your shared web hosting account.
PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7 and PHP 8 Support in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Even in case your sites were created with an earlier PHP version, you’ll be able to host them in a semi-dedicated server account from us, since we support multiple versions running simultaneously on our semi-dedicated servers and each of them can be enabled for your account with no more than a click of the mouse through our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel. Aside from the newest PHP 8, we also offer 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4 and the older PHP 4, which has already been abandoned by most web hosting suppliers, but we strongly feel that you should not be compelled to modify a site that took several years to set up, as older programming language syntax doesn’t automatically imply safety weaknesses. Quite the opposite, a well-maintained website using PHP 4 can be more reliable than a negligently maintained one using PHP 5. For your convenience, we will also offer you the opportunity to select a different version for each individual website within your account.
